Renewals

Submissions queue

Where portal submissions land, how to reach the queue, and how it differs from Renewals.

Submissions are what employees send through the Employee Portal. Each one waits for manager review before it becomes an authoritative credential.

Reaching the queue

The submissions queue is not in the sidebar. Reach it from a submission review item in the Action Center, or from the relevant employee's profile.

  1. 1Open the Action Center.
  2. 2Select a submission review item.
  3. 3Review the submitted details and any attached document.
  4. 4Approve or reject.

Submissions vs. renewals

  • A renewal request targets one specific existing credential and is tracked on the Renewals page.
  • A portal submission is what an employee sends through their portal link, and is reviewed from the submissions queue.
  • Both require an explicit human decision, and neither is ever auto-approved.

Priority

Submission review items are prioritized by how urgent the underlying credential is.

  • Critical — the related credential has already expired and is still unresolved.
  • High — the credential expires within seven days.
  • Medium — the credential expires further out.
  • Low — routine, with no expiring credential behind it, such as a first-time submission.
