Using briefs operationally
Where briefs fit in a weekly and monthly rhythm, and how to use them without over-relying on them.
Daily
Read the Dashboard's AI Compliance Brief as a thirty-second orientation, then move to the Action Center to work. The brief tells you the shape of the day; it is not the queue.
Weekly
- 1Open the Reports page and read the Executive Compliance Brief.
- 2Read the AI Change Narrative to see what moved during the week.
- 3Compare against last week's position and note anything trending the wrong way.
- 4Turn the two or three real problems into concrete assignments.
Monthly and per audit
- Use the Executive Compliance Brief as the cover summary for a Compliance Packet.
- Pair it with a filtered Compliance Matrix export so the narrative is backed by data.
- Keep a dated copy of both so you can show trend rather than a single snapshot.
Using them well
- Verify any specific figure before repeating it externally.
- Edit the wording before sending it to leadership or a client — briefs are drafts.
- Do not substitute a brief for the Missing Requirements report when assigning remediation work.
