Compliance Matrix overview
The grid of employees against required credential types, and what it is best used for.
The Compliance Matrix puts employees on rows and required credential types on columns. Each cell answers one question: does this person hold this required credential, and is it valid?
What it shows
- One column per credential type that at least one visible employee is required to hold.
- One row per employee in the current view.
- A summary of employees in view, required assignments, and how many are missing, expired, or expiring soon.
When to use it
- Preparing for an audit, where coverage across the whole population matters.
- Spotting a credential type that is systematically under-covered.
- Confirming a location or team is fully staffed with valid credentials.
- Verifying that a requirements change landed the way you intended.
The Action Center is better for working item by item. The matrix is better for seeing shape and scale.
Managers see only employees at their assigned locations, so their matrix is a subset of the company-wide view.
