Credentials

Expiration status and share links

How credential status is calculated and how to share a verifiable, read-only credential profile without a login.

How status is calculated

Status is derived from the expiration date every time it is read, so it can never be stale.

  • Current — expires more than thirty days from today.
  • Expiring soon — expires within the next thirty days.
  • Expired — the expiration date has passed.
  • No expiration — no expiration date recorded.

Secure Credential Profile

From an employee's profile, generate a share link that produces a read-only verification view of their credentials. The recipient needs no ComplyNestly account.

  1. 1Open the employee's profile and find the Secure Credential Profile section.
  2. 2Generate the link.
  3. 3Copy the URL or download the QR code for printing or embedding.
  4. 4Share it with the auditor, general contractor, client, or customer who asked for proof.
  • Links carry an expiration date, shown alongside the active link.
  • Regenerate issues a fresh link.
  • Revoke invalidates the current link immediately.
