Expiration status and share links
How credential status is calculated and how to share a verifiable, read-only credential profile without a login.
How status is calculated
Status is derived from the expiration date every time it is read, so it can never be stale.
- Current — expires more than thirty days from today.
- Expiring soon — expires within the next thirty days.
- Expired — the expiration date has passed.
- No expiration — no expiration date recorded.
Secure Credential Profile
From an employee's profile, generate a share link that produces a read-only verification view of their credentials. The recipient needs no ComplyNestly account.
- 1Open the employee's profile and find the Secure Credential Profile section.
- 2Generate the link.
- 3Copy the URL or download the QR code for printing or embedding.
- 4Share it with the auditor, general contractor, client, or customer who asked for proof.
Managing share links
- Links carry an expiration date, shown alongside the active link.
- Regenerate issues a fresh link.
- Revoke invalidates the current link immediately.
