Attach a credential document and let AI suggest field values when you first create the record, on paid plans.
Attaching a document
Use the Document field on the credential form to attach the certificate, license, or card. The document is stored with the credential and appears on the Secure Credential Profile view and in Compliance Packets.
AI extraction
On Pro and Business plans, attaching a document while creating a credential triggers extraction. ComplyNestly reads the document and pre-fills suggested values.
- 1Attach the document first, before typing field values.
- 2Wait for the Reading credential document step to finish — it usually takes a few seconds.
- 3Review each field marked Suggested by AI — review before saving.
- 4Correct anything wrong, then save.
Extraction can suggest the credential number, issuing authority, issue date, expiration date, and notes.
AI extraction is not available on the Free plan. You can still attach documents and enter fields manually.
