Smart Compliance Setup overview
How Smart Setup suggests a workspace structure, what you must confirm, and how it differs from legal advice.
Smart Compliance Setup walks owners and admins through a guided configuration: organization context, locations, roles, credential types, requirements, and automation preferences.
What Smart Setup does
- Suggests commonly tracked roles and credentials for the industry you select.
- Lets you edit, skip, or add custom items before anything is created.
- Writes the same locations, role templates, credential types, and role requirements used everywhere else in ComplyNestly.
- Optionally enables Renewal Autopilot when your plan includes renewal workflows.
What Smart Setup does not do
- It does not declare that a credential is legally required.
- It does not certify that your organization is compliant.
- It does not overwrite existing records — matching names are reused.
- It does not grant managers configuration rights.
