Getting Started

Welcome to ComplyNestly

What ComplyNestly tracks, how the pieces fit together, and where to start on your first day.

ComplyNestly tracks employee credentials — licenses, certifications, and training records — and tells you who is current, who is expiring, and who is missing something your company requires.

The core model

Four objects drive everything else in the product:

  • Employees — the people you track, optionally assigned to a location.
  • Credentials — a specific license or certification held by one employee, with issue and expiration dates and an optional document.
  • Credential types — the catalog of things you track, such as OSHA 10 or Forklift Certification.
  • Requirements — which credential types each employee is expected to hold, set through role templates or directly on an employee.

Once requirements exist, ComplyNestly can compare what each employee holds against what they should hold. That comparison is what powers the Compliance Matrix, Action Center, reports, reminders, and Renewal Autopilot.

What you do vs. what the product does

You enter employees, credential types, credentials, and requirements. ComplyNestly derives status, ranks work, sends reminders, and generates renewal tasks. It never approves a credential on your behalf.

Where to start

  1. 1Follow the Quick start to get a working setup in about fifteen minutes.
  2. 2Use the Get started with ComplyNestly checklist on your Dashboard to confirm each required step is done.
  3. 3Once requirements are configured, open the Compliance Matrix or Action Center to see your real gaps.
