Import limitations
There is no CSV employee import. What that means in practice and how to load data efficiently.
ComplyNestly does not have an in-app CSV import for employees. Employees, credentials, and requirements are entered through the product's own forms.
What this means
- Employees are added one at a time from the Add employee form.
- Credentials are recorded from each employee's profile.
- Role templates and direct requirements are assigned per employee.
- Export is fully supported — the limitation is one-directional.
Loading data efficiently
- 1Build the credential type catalog first, so credentials map to catalog types instead of Custom / Other.
- 2Create role templates before adding people, so requirements apply as you go rather than in a second pass.
- 3Add employees in location order, which keeps the location field consistent and makes manager scoping easy to verify.
- 4Enter credentials for one team at a time, prioritizing anything expiring within ninety days.
- 5On a paid plan, attach the document first so AI extraction pre-fills the fields, then confirm the expiration date.
