Credentials

Add and edit credentials

Record a credential against an employee, keep it accurate, and archive records you no longer track.

Add a credential

  1. 1Open the employee's profile and select the action to add a credential.
  2. 2Choose a Credential type from the catalog, or Custom / Other for something outside it.
  3. 3Enter Credential / license number and Issuing authority if you have them.
  4. 4Set Issue date and Expiration date.
  5. 5Attach the Document if you have a copy, and add Notes.
  6. 6Save.

Fields

  • Credential type — determines which requirement, if any, this credential satisfies.
  • Credential / license number — the identifier printed on the document.
  • Issuing authority — the body that granted it.
  • Issue date — informational; it does not affect status.
  • Expiration date — the only field that drives status. Leave it blank only for credentials that genuinely never expire.
  • Notes — free text for context such as restrictions or endorsements.
  • Document — the uploaded file backing the record.

Edit a credential

Open the credential from the employee's profile and use the edit action. Status recalculates as soon as you save — there is no delay or refresh cycle.

Archive and reactivate

Archive a credential when it is superseded or no longer tracked. Archived credentials move to a separate section on the profile, stop contributing to compliance calculations, and can be reactivated at any time.
